Refugee Transfers

We have completed 25 bus transfers with a total of 1.085 refugees  -  99% were offered a private host upon arrival or dropped-off at their preferred location.

Refugee Shelter

We support the private refugee shelter of the charitable "Ternopil Foundation" with financial support,  food, medicine, building materials, beds, bed supplies, equipment, clothes, toys, etc...

 Infrastructure Aid

We  organize & facilitate humanitarian aid across Ukraine, by transporting to and also distributing it within Ukraine with the help of our tireless team of volunteers in Kramatorsk and Ternopil

What we have done so far:

November 08: Winter Sleeping Bags for Kerson

250 winter sleeping bags were distributed to people in the Kherson region thanks to the generous donation. Following the destruction of the dam, many buildings are damaged and no longer insulated. The sleeping bags are therefore of great use now that the cold season is beginning.

Thanks to Jenny from https://gemeinsamhelfen.mkw.eu

November 08: Transport to Poland

In cooperation with https://gemeinsamhelfen.mkw.eu, Mike from #LiftUKRAINE brought humanitarian aid supplies from Koblenz to Poland to hand them over to our Ukrainian colleagues. Including 18 hospital beds and fan heaters!

October 25: Equippment for mobile dental office

Incredibly proud of our volunteer buddy Constantin from the #liftUKRAINE donation team:
Thanks to him, a mobile dental office could be equipped that is now helping in the frontline regions! 👌💪🙏🚑️ 🦷

October 24: Aspirator for Ternopil Hospital

Together with Ternopil Foundation we visited the ENT department of Ternopil Regional Clinical Hospital and donated a medical aspirator!
The department had only one, which caused difficulties with two parallel operations.
The aspirator facilitates the operation process!

Thanks to "Alex", whose generous donation made this possible!

October 23: Presents for Mariyka & Sashko

Again and again we experience sad stories. This is one of them:

Recently Mariyka and Sashko from Kharkiv came to our friends from Ternopil Foundation. We presented them with toys and school bags.
A small smile on their faces, but the tragedy behind it is indescribable: the war has made them orphans.
Now they live with Victoria, a loving and brave foster mother who is still raising her own child.
Sashko and Mariyka greatest desire is to explore the world 🌍

We wish you all the best!

October 23: Aid Transport to Ternopil

Another aid transport was successfully carried out:

- Urgently needed enteral nutrition

- Mattresses, pillows, blankets, bed linen and dishes for a family from Kherson region.

- Colostomy bags for patients with stomas in Cherkasy region

- Diapers and baby formula for a girl with hydrocephalus

- Tactical gloves and clothing for the military

- Adapters for respiratory system equipment

- Donated Socks for defenders

October: Our revamped Transporter

We would like to share our beautiful revamped sprinter 🚐🥰
Easy to identify, highlighting our partners and our reliable transportation - we couldn’t do without.

Many thanks to Bianca from https://winklerwerbung.de

October 3: Donation of an Ambulance Vehicle

LiftUKRAINE e.V. is proud to partner with Medical Response Crew and hand over an ambulance vehicle for the joint winter mission (and beyond). With this, we will be able to support local evacuations, the Kharkiv hospital as well as medical evacuation to Germany.

A big accomplishment that is made possible through your donations and the endless volunteer work - we are beyond grateful to continue and expand our help in Ukraine.

September 2: Evacuation

After unloading, breakfast was eaten, not much rest was taken, and the families' suitcases were packed right away.
One family was taken to Bochum, one mother was transferred to her daughter who was already evacuated by us in January to Freiburg for family reunification.

Happily exhausted, both, and also the families, are now treating themselves to a round on the couch.

August 9: Evacuation

A successful aid week ended with a classic “lift”:
After 32 hours of driving, Yuri was taken to his wife Alla, who was evacuated in November as part of our program. Toys and clothing left behind by the last evacuation were also brought to Anna's family.

August 8: Delivery to the ENT ward Ternopil

The next stop was the ENT ward in the regional hospital of the Ternopil oblast.

Here, among other things, acoustic trauma is treated. There are only 3 hospitals in Ukraine that operate on the eardrum. Accordingly, it is full due to the Russian shelling with shells and rockets.
This time there was not only a lot of medical consumables (surgical drapes, bandages, insulin syringes, syringes, surgical kits, catheters, needles, systems), but also an oral cavity endoscope and an electric scalpel (electrotome).

Special thanks go to Dr. Falko Knopp https://drknopp.de

August 8: Delivery to Zhytomyr Hospital

The highlight was the visit to the maternity clinic in Schytomir and the handover of the donated intensive care baby bed.

Television & Radio was actually waiting there. Also colleagues from the local foundation. After a guided tour of the beautifully and lovingly designed clinic and a visit to the babies, we had a meal together.
